El defensor asegur\u00f3 que sus abogados en Argentina verificaron directamente la situaci\u00f3n y descart\u00f3 que Fernando \u2018N\u2019 se encuentre viajando hacia M\u00e9xico para enfrentar su proceso penal.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"784\" data-end=\"1131\">Mendieta explic\u00f3 que su cliente <strong data-start=\"816\" data-end=\"867\">se opone a ser extraditado o expulsado a M\u00e9xico<\/strong>, al considerar que no existen condiciones adecuadas para enfrentar el proceso y porque, seg\u00fan su defensa, existe un riesgo para su vida. El exalmirante tambi\u00e9n enfrenta un procedimiento de expulsi\u00f3n en Argentina, iniciado debido a su ingreso irregular a ese pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1407\">El proceso de extradici\u00f3n contin\u00faa pendiente y <strong data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1248\">Fernando \u2018N\u2019 tendr\u00e1 una audiencia preliminar a finales de agosto<\/strong>. Posteriormente, el juez determinar\u00e1 la fecha para analizar formalmente la solicitud de extradici\u00f3n y, despu\u00e9s, emitir\u00e1 una resoluci\u00f3n sobre el procedimiento.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1409\" data-end=\"1789\">El abogado tambi\u00e9n lleva la defensa de <strong data-start=\"1448\" data-end=\"1473\">Manuel Roberto Far\u00edas<\/strong>, vicealmirante acusado igualmente de estar relacionado con el huachicol fiscal y quien permanece detenido en el penal de m\u00e1xima seguridad del Altiplano, en M\u00e9xico. Mendieta asegur\u00f3 que su estado f\u00edsico es bueno y que hasta ahora no ha reportado irregularidades ni situaciones que representen un riesgo para su vida.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1791\" data-end=\"2076\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Mientras ambos procesos contin\u00faan, la defensa sostiene que buscar\u00e1 que sus clientes puedan enfrentar las acusaciones y esclarecer su situaci\u00f3n jur\u00eddica, en medio de las investigaciones de la FGR relacionadas con el <strong data-start=\"2006\" data-end=\"2075\">robo y contrabando de combustibles conocido como
